Program Details

The University of West Florida offers an online Virtual Educator certificate. This program provides students with practices for designing, developing, and implementing distance learning environments and curriculum. Students will be prepared to teach distance learners and help administer their education.


  • Bachelor's degree from an institution that is fully accredited by a regional or national accrediting agency recognized by the United States Department of Education or a comparable degree from an international institution
  • GRE or MAT test scores (waived for applicants with GPA of 3.25 or higher)
  • Undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Be in good standing at all previous institutions of higher learning
  • Letter of intent
  • Academic preparation
