Founded in 1959, the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio educates the next generation of healthcare professionals to serve South Texas and the world. The mission of the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio is “to make lives better through excellence in education, research, health care, and community engagement.” UT Health San Antonio promotes a culture that values research, collaboration, and innovation. 

UT Health San Antonio offers nearly 70 degree specialties in both undergraduate and graduate programs, awarding degrees and certificates at all levels from six schools. The Department of Continuing Education offers online programs at both levels as well, including a hybrid doctorate degree. The remainder of UT Health San Antonio online degrees are offered 100% online with the majority offered in an asynchronous delivery.
