Requirements

Applicants are typically offered unconditional admission if they meet 2 out of 3 of the following criteria:
  1. An undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale, as calculated by the Graduate School or a graduate GPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale on 12 or more hours as calculated by the Graduate School may be used in lieu of the undergraduate GPA. 
  2. GRE Scores: Scores on 2 of 3 the three subtests on either the revised GRE (taken after August 1, 2011) or the previous version of the GRE (taken prior to August 1, 2011) that equal or exceed the scores listed on the school's website.    
  3. Completed recommendation forms from three persons who can assess the applicant's aptitude, academic skills and abilities needed for success in the Educational LEadership and Policies Studies master's program.   
Applicants are typically offered probationary admission if they meet 2 out of 3 ot the following criteria:  
  1. An undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.8 on a 4.0 scale, as calculated by the Graduate School or a graduate GPA of 3.3 or higher on a 4.0 scale on 12 or more hours as calcualted by the Graduate School may used used in lieu of the undergraduate GPA. 
  2. GRE Scores: Scores on 2 of 3 of the three subtests on either the revised GRE (taken after August 1, 2011) or the prvious version of the GRE (taken prior to August 1, 2011) that equal or exceed the scores listed on the school's website.
  3. Completed recommendation forms from three persons who can assess the applicant's aptitude, academic skills and abilities needed for the success in the Educational Leadership and Policies Studies master's program. 
Terms of Probation upon Acceptance: All students admitted under probation status will be required to earn a 3.5 GPA during the first 12 hours of graduate coursework in the program.
