The online Master of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences program is designed to prepare students to serve the needs of children and their families in various areas. This flexible program allows students to choose the path they wish to take depending on their interests, knowledge, and backgrounds. The two main options are: General Family and Consumer Sciences and Dietetics. The General Family and Consumer Sciences option is a general program that is based on a range of comprehensive courses and allows students to further narrow their studies by choosing an emphasis in child and family studies, in food science/nutrition, or to remain generalist.
