Program Details

The online Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction program is designed to prepare education professionals who will work in K-12 classrooms and teacher education programs, as district curriculum leaders, and in other areas within the education field, depending on endorsements chosen.  The curriculum is designed with such programmatic themes as the integration of ideas, cooperative endeavors, and respect for learning and individual worth.  Students can also pursue a Library Media endorsement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Letter of intent
  • Current resume
  • Official transcripts from all previous institutions attended
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • At least one (two if undergraduate GPA is below 3.0) of the following: official GRE or MAT scores OR MA/MEd/MS GPA of 3.0 or higher and an official transcript from the institution that awarded this degree OR 500-word essay OR national board certification
  • Background check and screens required for licensure applicants
