Bachelor of Arts in Social Work
University of Montana

Program Details

The Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from The University of Montana is an online social work degree program for those who are working on or have completed their associate degree from a partnering college.  As a degree completion program, the students can complete the program in as little as two years, completing upper division required courses and any remaining general education courses.  In addition, this program allows students to work with an Academic Advisor to plan their course of study, enrolling in the social work electives and extra-departmental courses they choose.

This online bachelor’s in social work prepares students for human services professions that work to prevent social problems, maintain satisfying social relationships, and enhance human development while focusing on people and the social environment.  Courses provide knowledge and skills that allow you to intervene on behalf of the various client populations and begin generalist social work practice.
