Program Details

The online Master of Arts in Education with an emphasis in Children’s Literature program prepares educators to continue their educations while becoming experts in incorporating children’s literature and illustration into their curriculums and classrooms. Educators will learn how fictional stories and cultural myths can contain elements of truth that shape children’s morals and values while helping them become more empathetic, thoughtful, and caring people. Courses focus on incorporating literature with the visual arts, explaining how to write for children, curriculum integration, and teaching how illustrations impact children’s books.
