Explore the options of an Advanced Standing degree through The University of Alabama’s Master of Social Work program online.  This program is designed for those who currently hold a Council on Social Work Education-accredited Bachelor of Social Work degree.  Concentrations within this program are as follows:

  • Children, Adolescents and their Families
  • Adults and their Families

Students will work within a cohort of peers, taking on studies in gerontological social work, children and adolescents’ mental health, child welfare, family services, and more.  With a combination of concentration courses and customizable electives, students are able to design a curriculum aligned with personal and professional goals.  While this is a primarily online degree, some courses will require face-to-face skills laboratory sessions.  Enter today’s fast-paced marketplace with an advanced understanding of social work practices through The University of Alabama online.
