Program Details

Earn a Bachelor of Science degree through the University of Alabama online.  This program focuses on Human Environmental Studies, as well as Early Childhood Education and Development.  Studies include but are not limited to:

  • Statistics 
  • Psychology
  • Early Childhood Education

Graduates with this degree are prepared to enter careers in teaching, education assistance, school counseling, and more.  Students engaged or seeking work with a Head Start agency may choose instead the Child Development Practitioner concentration.  Learn to address physical, social, cognitive, and emotional development, parent and child relationships, curriculum design, and other essential knowledge and skills.  Earn a degree with UA online and begin a career in shaping the minds of the future.
