Program Details

The Chicago School of Professional Psychology offers an online Doctor of Philosophy in Counselor Education and Supervision to the working adult student.  This full-time program is designed for professionally licensed counselors and those seeking licensure.  Studies will cover topics including but not limited to:

  • Counseling theories
  • Group development
  • Contemporary trends

Students develop an essential set of skills through hands-on learning, quantitative and qualitative research, and three required internships preparing them for leadership and teaching roles in mental health counseling.  Graduates with this advanced degree may find pursuable pathways within outpatient care centers, substance abuse hospitals, family services, and more.  Evaluate the theoretical and practical applications of counseling and receive a doctorate degree through The Chicago School online.
