The coursework for a Certificate in Autism is available both as a stand-alone certificate or an area of emphasis with the Master of Education in Special Education. Either way, the classes are completely online. This certificate allows students to specialize in the area of autism while developing additional skills in working with children with autism spectrum disorders.
The certificate can be taken during a master's or post-baccalaureate certification program, or as a stand-alone certificate.
