Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center offers a Master of Science for Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioners. This mostly-online nurse practitioner program equips you to serve as a primary care provider for children. The curriculum covers an extensive range of practice settings. Online coursework prepares you to provide examinations, routine screenings, school physicals, and to diagnose and treat childhood illnesses. Occasionally, this program requires in-person skills labs at the main campus.
Upon completion of course requirements, and one year experience, you will be eligible to sit for the Pediatric Nurse Certification Board (PNCB) Exam and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Exam.
