Program Details

Texas Southern University offers a Master of Education in Educational Administration and Foundations. Students will be prepared to work with individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and cultures. Students learn about leadership roles and how to apply those to real world situations in education.

Requirements

  • Nonlicensure program: 36 hours to completion
  • Licensure program: 42 hours to completion
  • Evidence of holding a Standard Teacher Certificate, and at least two years of classroom teaching experience
  • Bachelor’s degree, or its equivalent, from an accredited college or university
  • Undergraduate GPA of 2.5 or better; or 3.0 on last 60 hours
  • GRE test scores (if applicable)
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • Current resume or CV
  • Personal essay
  • Official transcripts
