Program Details

The curriculum of these online healthcare degrees is based on the Responsibilities and Competencies for Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES) developed by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. (NCHEC).  Learn about the literature of health education and develop the skills needed to read and apply research relevant to health education in a program that prepares students for professional leadership in the field.  You will interact with an accomplished group of professional health educators while studying knowledge based on core responsibilities and competencies.

Choose either a thesis or non-thesis program.  The thesis program is designed for practicing health educators and is research-oriented.  The non-thesis program requires a professional internship.

An emphasis on teacher certification is available for those interested in careers in education or in education-related environments.
