Texarkana College is a community college located in Texarkana, Texas. The college was founded in 1927 as a response to the desire to have a community college in the area. In 1948, the school board voted the expansion of the college to an independent area of land and the school moved to its present day location. In 1971, East Texas State University joined to offer upper-level and graduate classes on Texarkana’s campus in order for students to receive a bachelor and master’s degree without leaving the community colleges campus.
TC offers a variety of different associate’s degrees and certificates, many of which are offered completely online through Distance Education.
