Students in the Professional Studies Bachelor degree program have the opportunity to earn the advanced education with a concentration on Health Administration. The BS in Health Administration degree is available to students through an innovative online learning format, designed to fit the schedules of non-traditional learners.

Health administration is a crucial dynamic in the healthcare industry, providing leadership, management, and administration skills in organizations such as hospitals, health care systems, and public health systems. Students in the health administration concentration may use the degree to enter the competitive job market with knowledge and understanding of health care fundamentals. The administration discipline intends to provide students with management and leadership skills demanded by professional institutions supplementing the medical staff in non-patient duties. Students in the BS in Health Administration program must complete at least 120 credit hours, comprised of general education courses, professional development courses, core Health Administration courses, and electives. Students will focus their Health Administration education on studying health care research methods, nursing leadership and management, current trends and issues in healthcare, community development, and international healthcare.
