Program Details

The online MBA with a concentration in Travel & Tourism program prepares students for leadership roles in the travel and tourism industry.  The curriculum offers MBA courses that will help students within this concentration, such as accounting, project management, leadership, and economics.  You will also gain skills in management, critical thinking, technology, critical skills, and decision making that will help after graduation.  Within the Travel and Tourism concentration, courses may include:
  • Sustainable Tourism Development
  • Destination Management and Marketing
  • Cultural Intelligence
  • Crisis, Risk and Disaster Management
  • Understanding Tourism in the 21st Century
Students learn from a rigorous and respected curriculum that also features flexibility in timing and scheduling, allowing students to maintain their professions while still completing their degrees in as little as 20 months.

Requirements

Students participate in a one-week residency on campus at the beginning of the program.
