Tarleton State University offers an online Master of Science (MS) degree in Manufacturing Quality and Leadership ideal for employees who have baccalaureate degrees in technical and non-technical areas to gain knowledge to be exceptional in all facets of manufacturing. The program stresses leadership skills so that advancement into leadership positions becomes a reality. Another purpose of the program is to address quality and technology productivity issues in manufacturing to help standardize performance procedures.
The MS in Manufacturing Quality and Leadership is a 30-hour program consisting of 24 hours in MQL courses as well as a Thesis or Non-Thesis option that accounts for six hours. The Non-Thesis option requires that two additional MQL courses be completed.
Acceptance into the College of Graduate studies requires that a transcript, an application, an essay and GRE test scores be evaluated. In the case that the applicant’s undergraduate degree was not in a business or a manufacturing related field or the lack of professional experience, some leveling courses should be expected.
