The online MSEd in Physical Education / Coaching Pedagogy degree program from SUNY Cortland is designed for individuals who want to inspire today's youth to enjoy the benefits of an active and healthy life, be a positive role model for people of all ages, share their love of physical activity and fitness with upcoming generations, and become a leader and advocate for constructive change in the physical education profession. There are two concentrations available to suit students' personal interests and professional goals:
- Adapted Physical Eduation
- Coaching Pedagogy
Requirements
- On-campus two-week summer residency required
- Bachelor's degree or higher with an undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above (4.0 scale)
- Official transcripts from all institutions of higher learning
- Resume with three references
- Letter of application indicating why you are interested in the program
- Documentation of initial certification in physical education
- GRE or MAT test scores
