Program Details

Licensed radiology technicians can earn a certificate preparing them for CT certification while they maintain their current employment with this online program. The Certificate in Computed Tomography consists of five courses typically taken over two semesters remotely in addition to a clinical rotation in the student’s local area.

Students will gain advanced skills in operating computed tomography imaging equipment to aid in the diagnosis of various medical conditions. Courses address issues including reviewing patient history, patient care, radiologic data processing, and professional standards and ethics. Graduates will be eligible to sit for national certification examinations.

After completing the program, students will be prepared to:
