Program Details

The online Master of Science in Education with a concentration in Social Studies Education program builds on the foundation of undergraduate degrees to help take careers to the next level as candidates become successful social studies educators.  Educators work beyond the mechanics of how and what to teach, examining the field in a more sophisticated way.  The curriculum builds critical thinking skills and further develops personal teaching philosophies.  The online option for this degree program is in Adolescence Social Studies for Grades 7-12, which focuses on teaching social studies in grades 7-12.
