Program Details

The online Graduate Certificate in Public Health Fundamentals and Principles prepares students for the continuously changing challenges in public health and can be used as a first look at public health or to further enhance one's understanding of the complexities of the field.  Courses include Principles of Public Health, Principles and Methods of Epidemiology 1, Principles of Statistical Inference I, and Health Care Organization, Delivery and Financing.


  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 in a completed bachelor’s and/or graduate degree
  • One semester of mathematics (algebra or pre-calculus) or statistics with a grade of B or higher
  • One semester of social sciences
