Stockton University is a public, four-year institution located in Pomona, New Jersey. Stockton University was founded in 1969 as was named after Richard Stockton who was one of the New Jersey members who signed the Declaration of Independence. Since then, Stockton has operated under this mission: "excellence in teaching, dedication to learning, and a tradition of community service."
