Program Details

SFCC offers the online AAS in Health Information Technology. This program teaches you to compile and process digital and traditional patient medical records in any health care setting while maintaining their security, integrity, confidentiality, and availability. With this degree, students are then eligible to take the national credentialing exam for registered health information technicians.

Requirements

This degree program requires 63.5 credits and clinical rotations for completion.

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Placement testing (ACT, Compass, or ACCUPLACER scores taken within the last 3 years may waive this requirement)
