Program Details

Stark State College offers the online AAB in Business Management. Students have two options with this degree:

  • Entrepreneurship Major: This track is designed for those who want to learn more about opportunity recognition and evaluation and new venture start-up and growth. Students in this program will participate in courses and seminars staffed by faculty members as well as entrepreneurs and business owners/managers in the local community. Students will have opportunities to learn firsthand what is needed to start a new business venture that will add economic and cultural value to the community, and to run an existing business with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • KSU Stark BBA Degree Major: Stark State College recognizes the value of education beyond the associate degree and has teamed up with Kent State University to provide seamless transition into their business program. Stark State students can complete this special option in business management technology to receive an associate degree. An additional 42 semester credit hours of degree requirements are needed through Kent State at Stark to earn a BBA degree.

Requirements

This degree program requires 62-64 credits for completion.

  • Official high school transcript or GED certificate and scores
  • ACT scores (if taken in the last 2 years) or ACCUPLACER assessment

Geographic Restrictions

Stark State College is a participant of the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA) and is also approved to accept students from California. This program may not be authorized in other non-member states and territories.
