Program Details

Stanly Community College offers an online Diploma in Human Services Technology to the nontraditional student.  This program prepares students to enter today’s competitive marketplace with the skills and knowledge to stand out as professionals.  Students will explore introductory topics in psychology and sociology, professional research, writing, and more.

Courses will also guide students through processes and methods of interviewing, crisis intervention, and various counseling options.  This affordable academic option provides pathways to work in mental health, rehabilitation, educational agencies, and other gainful options.  Online students are able to take part in volunteer work, transfer programs, and other advantages through SCC distance learning.
