Program Details

A dramatic rise in the number of students entering schools from non-English speaking households has changed the face of the New York Metro area and increased the need for educators adept in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). The Advanced Certificate in TESOL prepares holders of initial or professional New York State certification to support English Language Learners (ELLs) from Kindergarten to Grade 12.
