About Southern Arkansas University Tech
Southern Arkansas University Tech is a two-year comprehensive college emphasizing technical education and is committed to providing quality educational programs delivered through various technologies and methodologies to meet the needs of its service areas. The college began in 1968 and operates under the governance of the Board of Trustees of the Southern Arkansas University System.
SAU Tech’s mission is to “meet the educational, training, and cultural needs of communities it serves.” SAU Tech offers courses, certifications and degrees. Many online program options are offered, as well as programs and certificates that are partially online. This allows individuals to pursue their education while still working and dealing with other responsibilities. Instructors work hard to make the material accessible. Students interact with other classmates and their instructors virtually.
