School Details

The story of today’s Southeastern Technical College begins in Emanuel County in 1963. That year, Swainsboro Area Vocational Technical School opened, made real through the efforts and support of the local legislators and citizens in the Emanuel County area. Swainsboro Area Vocational Technical School converted to state governance in 1987 and was renamed Swainsboro Technical Institute. The school became Southeastern Technical College in 1990.

STC offers associate's degree programs, occupational certificates, and diplomas, many of which can be earned completely online.
