Program Details

The online MBA with a concentration in Human Resources from Southeastern Oklahoma State University prepares students to advance their careers in the human resources area of business.  Students will learn to organize and lead corporate Human Resources functions with confidence.  Courses offer the tools and techniques you will use to make strategic decisions and to be successful in supervisory management.  The curriculum also includes core MBA coursework which include the fundamentals in areas including finance, accounting, economics, behavioral management, research, and data analysis.  Graduates are prepared for careers as HR managers, HR specialists, or as compensation and benefits managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited university with a minimum 3.0 overall GPA or minimum 3.0 GPA in the last 60 semester hours of courses, or
  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited university with a minimum 2.5 overall GPA or minimum 2.75 GPA in last 60 semester hours of courses, AND at least three years of continuous professional work experience, or
  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited university with a minimum 2.5 overall GPA or minimum 2.75 GPA in last 60 semester hours of courses, AND a portfolio consisting of a letter of application which outlines the applicant's career goals and objectives and how an MBA degree will enhance them; a current resume, three professional letters of recommendation, or
  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited university and at least 9 hours in a graduate program from a regionally accredited university with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA and must be in good standing at previous university
  • No GMAT is required for the Southeastern Oklahoma State University online MBA
