Program Details

Southeastern Oklahoma State University offers an online MBA with a concentration in Hospitality Management for those interested in advancing their careers in hospitality management in the business field.  The curriculum prepares students to move into management in the hospitality industry.  Courses in Hospitality Management focus on HR management topics

Students also study the development of:

  • Travel and tourism
  • Hotel operations
  • Restaurants and food service

You will look at these areas through administration, accounting, and marketing strategy.  In addition students complete core MBA coursework in the areas of finance, accounting, economics, behavioral management, research, and data analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited university with a minimum 3.0 overall GPA or minimum 3.0 GPA in the last 60 semester hours of courses, or
  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited university with a minimum 2.5 overall GPA or minimum 2.75 GPA in last 60 semester hours of courses, AND at least three years of continuous professional work experience, or
  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited university with a minimum 2.5 overall GPA or minimum 2.75 GPA in last 60 semester hours of courses, AND a portfolio consisting of a letter of application which outlines the applicant's career goals and objectives and how an MBA degree will enhance them; a current resume, three professional letters of recommendation, or
  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited university and at least 9 hours in a graduate program from a regionally accredited university with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA and must be in good standing at previous university
  • No GMAT is required for the Southeastern Oklahoma State University online MBA
