Program Details

The online Criminal Justice master’s program is hosted in partnership between Missouri Southern State University and Southeast Missouri State University. Students apply and pay tuition to the school of their choice, but will enroll in online courses through both universities.

Studies are intended to prepare for leadership roles in a range of criminal justice fields, including:

  • Law enforcement
  • Court systems
  • Corrections
  • Crime prevention


  • Baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university
  • Undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0 (4.0 scale)
  • Official transcripts
  • Completion of prerequisites in social sciences and criminal justice
  • Letter of intent
