Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice

Program Details

Southeast Missouri’s online Criminal Justice bachelor’s degree is designed to prepare professionals for career advancement in crime prevention, protection and rehabilitation, including preparation for employment with the FBI, ATF, Secret Service, private security firms and more. 

Students can choose from two academic tracks:

  • Academic / University track provides overall foundations in criminal justice.
  • Law Enforcement Academy track is for those who wish to specialize in law enforcement training and requires added certification.


  • Bachelor completion requires 120 credits, including transfer credits
  • Major requirements: 45 credits
  • Official transcripts from all colleges or universities you have attended
