Program Details

The online Doctor of Ministry from South University prepares students to answer their calling.  This program is designed to prepare students for vocational and bi-vocational ministry without requiring a master’s degree.  Students advance their understanding of the nature and purpose of ministry, enhance their ministry skills, and further their spiritual maturity.  You will learn to articulate a biblically informed and theologically reasoned understanding of helping relationships, show a commitment to the ethical and professional expectations of ministry, resolve disputes and achieve resolution and reconciliation in ministry settings, and become competent to practice ministry in a variety of settings.  Graduates are aware of diversity in ministry and can work effectively with differences of religious beliefs or the absence of religious beliefs, denominational differences, racial and ethnic differences, and gender differences.  

There is a Standard Track and an Advanced Track available depending on professional and academic history.
