Program Details

South University offers an online Bachelor of Arts in Psychology program designed to give students a broad background in general education and provide initial training for students seeking entry-level careers.  Coursework studies psychological disorders and the contrasting theoretical views investigating them.  Students also discuss intrapersonal and interpersonal processes such as conformity, social perception, persuasion, group dynamics, and self-esteem.  The major theoretical perspectives of personality development, structure, dynamic assessment, and psychological adjustment are also examined.

Possible entry-level careers include: community organizer, therapeutic assistant, counselor aide, career and academic advising, human resource administrator, behavioral intervention specialist, and child care worker.
