The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Postgraduate Certificate prepares nurses to care for patients with complex psychiatric and physical healthcare needs. This online program is designed for nurses who already hold a master’s degree who want to gain certification in another specialty.
Courses cover both outpatient and inpatient care for patients of all ages and diagnoses. Classes are offered online, with 540 clinical hours required. Graduates are eligible to sit for the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification exam through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

- Must have a master's degree in nursing from a CCNE or ACEN accredited nursing program, with an approved statistical methods course within the past 5 years
