Program Details

Sinclair Community College offers an Associate of Arts in Psychology, a program designed for students planning to transfer to four-year university as a psychology major or into a major for which psychology is a strong base. Students will learn to demonstrate the ability to think logically and solve problems using analysis, synthesis and evaluation.

Students can expect to take courses such as:

  • General Psychology
  • Lifespan Human Development
  • Abnormal Psychology
  • Personality Psychology
  • Social Psychology


  • Sinclair placement test (college-level ACCUPLACER, ACT, SAT, ALEKS, or Compass (math) score within the last two years may be used for placement)
