Program Details

Sinclair Community College offers a one-year, online technical certificate in Law Enforcement.  This program is intended for individuals who are already working within the criminal justice or law enforcement system and would like to enhance their career and advance their development.  It is also designed for students who intend to enter a career in law enforcement or corrections.  Law enforcement across local, state and federal jurisdictions is studied, as are: ethics, constitutional law, case law, courts, probation/parole and the correctional system.

The online Law Enforcement Technical Certificate is also intended to help you prepare for civil service exams.  Should you decide to further your education, the class credits you receive from this certificate are fully transferable towards an associate’s or bachelor’s degree.
