As a private, non-profit and non-sectarian school, Simmons University only accepts women into its undergraduate programs. As a graduate of the Bachelor of Science in Public Health, you can address public health challenges such as:

  • Infectious and chronic diseases
  • Food and water safety
  • Health inequities by sexuality, gender, and race
  • Sanitation and environmental issues

All students take core courses in health communications, microbiology, global health, and epidemiology. Additionally, you will complete a capstone project. You can choose between an internship or a research experience.
