Since its founding in 1936, Sierra College has focused on quality instruction and meeting the needs of the communities that it serves. The Sierra Community College District includes all of Placer and Nevada Counties and part of El Dorado and Sacramento Counties, some of California’s fastest growing areas. Since its first days, the promise of Sierra College has been to facilitate learning, inspire change, and build community. The college continues this mission as it adapts “to meet the ever-changing needs of students while promoting learning as a lifelong process.”
