Program Details

The online Legal Administrative Specialist Program prepares students for employment as general office clerks, clerical support staff, administrative support staff, and legal secretaries. The curriculum focuses on teaching skills in communications, critical thinking, decision making, legal terminology, office procedures and practices for the legal environment, transcription of legal documents, advanced software applications, and the legal aspects of business and papers. Graduates are prepared to use Microsoft Office and other software in a legal office setting and for the Microsoft Office Specialist Industry Certification.
