Program Details

The Administrative Office Specialist Program, an online technology management degree, is designed to prepare students for employment as a general office clerk, secretary, or administrative assistant.  Focusing on broad, transferable skills utilized by administrative specialists, courses improve oral and written communications, keyboarding, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.  The program utilizes Microsoft Office and other software that prepares students for the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Industry Certification exam.  While building employment portfolios and job seeking documents, students study such topics as:

  • Electronic desktop publishing
  • Advanced computer software applications
  • Sway
  • Machine transcription
  • Internet and E-mail

Since this is an online program, students are able to successfully balance their education with other obligations.
