The Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling is an online counseling degree from San Diego State University.  The goal of this program is to prepare students to be effective practitioners, administrators, and leaders in the Rehabilitation field.  You will learn how to empower others to make informed choices, build viable careers, and live more independently.  The curriculum develops knowledge and practice of counseling skills along with knowledge of disabilities and ways to demonstrate respect and sensitivity for those people.  Courses also teach students about technology that assists those with disabilities and about ways to match their needs with appropriate adaptations, equipment, and/or resources to expand employment and increase quality of life opportunities.
