Program Details

State licensing of specific law enforcement officials is mandatory in the state of Texas.  One important step in becoming a licensed official is basic certification.  San Antonio College offers a program for you with this online Level 1 Law Enforcement Certificate if you are interested in the following career paths: 

• Peace officer
• Jailer
• Telecommunicator

Note that this online certification is geared for students in Texas.  If you are located outside the state of Texas, check on the applicability of this coursework to your individual state.
