Program Details

The online MBA with a concentration in Social Ventures program prepares students for work in business units focused on providing benefits and solutions to social problems.  Courses are designed for students who plan to work in either for-profit or nonprofit organizations.  They focus on providing positive impacts on social issues in a sustainable manner.  Social Ventures courses may include:

• Social Entrepreneurship and Social Enterprise
• Building Value Through Marketing or Marketing and Fundraising for Nonprofits
• Business Foresight and Futuring

Students also complete MBA courses in such topics as entrepreneurship, ethics, organizational behavior, finance, economics, accounting, and strategic management.  Graduates are prepared to lead and manage in today’s constantly changing global business environment as conscientious and powerful executives.
