Program Details

The online MBA with a concentration in Engineering Management program prepares learners to control more of the variables that affect engineering processes.  You will learn to be competent and effective business problem-solvers.  Courses teach students to apply managerial theory and strategy to engineering teams and processes and helps them understand principles of effective supply chain management.  Students learn how to make decisions that enhance organizational competitiveness and to apply principles of business logistics to engineering production processes.  You will learn to effectively manage projects using commonly accepted project management practices and to use professional integrity and ethical behavior. 

Graduates can take the following career paths:

  • General Manager—oversee all aspects of business management
  • Logistics Manager—prepare and lead teams in operations and business logistics
  • Quality Assurance Manager—ensure technical accuracy and customer acceptance for work products
  • Production Manager—coordinate the plans for products and services in manufacturing plants
  • Construction Manager—supervise, coordinate, and budget for construction projects

Requirements

  • Official transcripts showing proof of a Bachelor’s degree from a regionally-accredited U.S. university or college, or from an international university with credential evaluation
  • Proof of appropriate prerequisite courses (e.g. accounting) if necessary
