Program Details

Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College offers an online human services degree, the Bachelor of Science in Human Services.  This program emphasizes theory, knowledge, and skills necessary for competent practice in the human services field.  Students learn ways to make positive impacts in people’s lives and are prepared to take on meaningful roles in professions that help others.  Courses teach you to problem solve by assessing the client’s needs and identifying community with the goal of making a difference. 

Graduates are prepared to assist individuals, families, and groups in many settings through a variety of modalities including casework, group work, community organizations, and advocacy.  Some of the organizations in which graduates may find employment include:
