Math forms the basis of solving problems and answering questions that humans face, as well as our way of understanding the nature of our universe as it related to natural sciences. Business uses it for planning, analysis, and development of strategies and recognition of patterns. Technology uses it through application of physics, chemistry, biology and other fields in a theoretical foundation to develop new equipment, machinery, and skills to improve the condition of mankind.

Saint Mary of the Woods College offers a Bachelor degree in Mathematics for inpiduals who are interested in learning to apply and develop their skill in mathematic to understanding the world around them, or function in a wide variety of careers.
