Associate of Arts in Paralegal Studies
Georgia Military College

Program Details

The online Associate of Arts in Paralegal Studies program prepares students for entry-level positions in the public and private sectors of the legal community.  An associate’s degree is all that is required for students to begin working in this field, although it can also be used as a foundation for law school.  The curriculum educates, trains, and prepares students to assist attorneys in their daily tasks, providing both legal theory and practical legal skills and encouraging high ethical standards.  You will also gain critical thinking, communication, research, computer, and organizational skills.  The Associate of Arts degree is more suitable for students continuing an education in Liberal Arts while the Associate of Science degree is geared towards studying the sciences and behavioral sciences.
