Program Details

The online MPH in Biosecurity and Disaster Preparedness trains students to mitigate, prevent, prepare for, respond to, or recover from natural or manmade biological events that could harm humans, animals, or the environment, such as biological terrorism or avian influenza.  These are complex humanitarian events requiring a multi-disciplinary approach, incorporating clinical medicine, public health, veterinary medicine, epidemiology, environmental health, business, law enforcement, and emergency management.
